Akshar Thakkar is an experienced professional in information security and risk management, currently serving as Manager I in Information Security Third Party Risk Management at Navy Federal Credit Union since April 2021, following a role as Lead Analyst in the same department. Prior to this, Akshar worked at PwC from August 2016 to April 2021, advancing from Cybersecurity Consultant to Senior Consultant. Earlier experience includes positions in the Information Technology Leadership Program at GE Oil & Gas during the summer of 2014 and 2015. Akshar holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned in 2016.
