Loren Groff is currently the Chief Data Scientist at the National Transportation Safety Board, where they serve as a senior technical expert in data science methods for transportation safety data systems. From 2011 to 2018, Loren worked as a National Resource Specialist, focusing on safety studies and investigative support. Loren has a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Factors Psychology from Wichita State University, where they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and an Associate's degree in Aviation from Hesston College.
