Harrison Hyung Min Kim is a distinguished professor and researcher in systems design engineering, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Co-Director of the Hoeft Technology and Management program. With a strong focus on energy systems engineering and AI-based sustainable product design, they have secured over $15M in research funding from various esteemed organizations including the National Science Foundation and the US Department of Energy. Previously, Harrison held positions as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Illinois, and gained industry experience as a Senior Consultant at Samsung SDS.
