Shawnee Appell has a diverse range of experience in health, community development, and sports. At Massachusetts General Hospital, Shawnee served as an intern in the Center for Global Health, participating in bi-weekly meetings with Ugandan team members and contributing to curriculum preparations. A previous internship with Beauty for Ashes Uganda involved leading the organization of donated goods and working directly with women in Uganda on business development initiatives. Shawnee also held roles with the Nashville Predators as an Office Manager and HR Administrator and as a Program Manager. Notably, Shawnee was a member of Team USA with the Haydenettes Synchronized Figure Skating Team, representing the United States in multiple competitions and achieving significant accolades. Additionally, Shawnee acted as a Brand Ambassador for Risport USA, enhancing brand presence in the sports community.
