Parker Francis is a robotic systems engineer currently working at NASA Johnson Space Center's Robotic Systems Technology Branch within the Software, Robotics, and Simulation Division on the Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover (VIPER) as the Structures and Mechanisms Lead. Parker has previously held roles such as Engineering Intern and Design Intern at NASA, and has experience as a Stage Systems Controls Engineer at Firefly Space Systems. Parker earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to technical work, Parker has also contributed to educational initiatives by teaching undergraduate engineering courses.
