Leah Prescott is an experienced library and information science professional with a career spanning several decades. Leah began as Director at Preston Public Library from 1987 to 1992 and has held key positions such as Assistant Archivist at Getty Research Institute, Digital Projects Coordinator at both Washington Research Library Consortium and Getty Research Institute, and Associate Director for Digital Initiatives and Special Collections at Georgetown University Law Center. Currently, Leah serves as the Senior Administrator of Library Resources at Mystic Seaport Museum. Leah’s expertise includes project management, digital project coordination, and archives processing, supported by a BA in American History from the University of Connecticut and an MLS from Syracuse University.
