Denis Baptista is a Music Director and Composer at Minha Terra Films, specializing in orchestral composition and soundtracks for film, theatre, and commercials, with a focus on Brazilian music. Since 2003, Denis has been a self-employed composer and has held positions as a Music Instructor at Prairie College and a Music Teacher with the Alberta Registered Music Teacher Association, where they teach various music disciplines. Denis also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary and has experience teaching piano. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Theory and Composition from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a Master's degree from the University of Calgary.
