René Jones is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at M&T Bank, a position held since 1992, where they are dedicated to making a positive impact on communities and enhancing the lives of individuals through banking services. Prior to this role, René worked as a CPA at Ernst & Young from 1986 to 1989. They earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Organizations and Markets from the University of Rochester in 1992, following a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Boston College in 1986.
