Chu Zhang has a strong background in software engineering and database management. They began their career in 2005 at D3 Security Management System as a Senior Software Developer. From 2010 to 2016, Chu worked at Top Producer Systems as a Database Engineer. They then joined Move, Inc in 2016, first as a Senior Software Engineer and later promoted to Staff Software Engineer in February 2019.

Chu Zhang obtained a Master's degree from The University of British Columbia from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wuhan University, graduating from 1992 to 1996. They also have additional certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from AWS, Microsoft Certificated IT Professional as a Database Developer from Microsoft, and NodeJs Developer on MongoDB from MongoDB.
