David Murray has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career in 1988 as a Technician at Touch America, where they worked until 1997. From 1997 to 2009, they served as a Business Systems Technician at Centurytel. David then joined CenturyLink in 1997 as a Communications Technician and remained with the company until their retirement in September 2019. After their retirement, they briefly worked as a Retired individual before joining MOUNTAIN, LTD. in July 2020 as an ISP Engineer.

David Murray attended Helena Senior High School from 1970 to 1974, where they earned a diploma. The field of study was listed as "Required four year learning."
