Carolyn Homer

Carolyn Homer is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in intellectual property and First Amendment litigation. Carolyn began a legal career at Quinn Emanuel from September 2012 to January 2018 as an Associate, focusing on various federal court cases related to intellectual property. Carolyn then served as a Trial Attorney at the Council on American-Islamic Relations from February 2018 to December 2019, advocating for civil and constitutional rights. Following this role, Carolyn worked as a Senior Associate at Latham & Watkins in the Connectivity, Information and Privacy group, from January 2020 to August 2024, concentrating on copyright and internet litigation. Currently, Carolyn is Counsel at Morrison Foerster, engaging in copyright and intellectual property litigation. Earlier in the career, Carolyn gained valuable insights as a Google Policy Fellow and as a Law Clerk at the Federal Trade Commission. Carolyn earned a JD magna cum laude in Intellectual Property Law and First Amendment Law from The George Washington University Law School.
