Hon. Kweisi Mfume is a prominent figure currently serving as the Chairman of the University Board of Regents at Morgan State University and is pursuing both a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies and a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude, from the same institution. They previously represented Maryland as a Member of Congress in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1986 to 1996 and have held leadership positions at various organizations, including President & CEO of the NAACP and Executive Director of the National Medical Association. Mfume also contributed to health equity as Chief Health Equity Officer at CTIS, Inc. and has been involved with Research!America and the Health Policy Research Consortium.
