Jeff Carey has a comprehensive work experience in the software engineering industry. Jeff started their career at Contex Prepress Systems in 1989 as a Principal Software Engineer and worked there until 1999. From 1999 to 2000, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at BARCO Graphics Systems. Then, they joined Contex Prepress Systems / Xyvision Inc. in 1991 as the Director of Systems Engineering and stayed there until 2001. Jeff later joined Monotype in 2002 as a Principal Software Engineer and held various roles including Principal API Engineer and Web Core Solutions Lead. Jeff has been with Monotype since 2002 and is currently working as a Web Core Solutions Lead.

Jeff Carey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, which they earned between 1981 and 1986.
