Tom Dean currently serves as the Director of Professional Services at MongoDB, having started in August 2022. Previously, Tom held various roles at Apptio, including Practice Manager and Engagement Manager, from January 2020 to August 2022. Prior to that, Tom was a Managing Consultant at SolutionsATI Consulting, where responsibilities included leading DevSecOps transformation for Cisco Systems and managing cross-functional teams. Tom's career began in the US Navy, where roles included Operations Officer and Assistant Chief Engineer, demonstrating extensive leadership and operational expertise. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in History from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science in Physics from the Naval Postgraduate School.
