Marcus Kretzschmar currently serves as VP Intellectual Property and Head of IP at Molecular Partners since 2023, after previously holding the position of Head of Intellectual Property and Director IP & Legal within the same organization from 2014 to 2022. Prior to this, Marcus worked as an Attorney at Law and Patent Attorney at Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner, LLP from 2007 to 2014, specializing in the biotech and pharmaceutical practice group. Educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Rockefeller University, and a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Tübingen.
