David Schlingloff has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2018, they started as an Engineering Intern at GE Aviation, where they focused on spares forecasting. In 2019, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Cummins Inc., specifically in base engine components. From 2018 to 2021, they were a member of the Propulsion System Integration Team at The Hybrid Electric Vehicle Team at Virginia Tech, serving as both a team lead and team member. In 2021, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Liquiflo Equipment Company. Additionally, they served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Mechanical Vibrations at Virginia Tech College of Engineering from August to December 2021. Currently, since July 2022, they work as a Field Service Engineer at Molecular Devices.

David Schlingloff attended Virginia Tech from 2017 to 2022. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
