Morekolodi Balone is a mining engineering professional with a Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering from Botswana International University of Science & Technology. Following a rigorous two-year graduate training, they currently serve as a Mine Planning Engineer at Khoemacau Copper Mining, where they design mine plans, stope designs, and manage scheduling and sequencing. Morekolodi has also gained experience as a Mining Engineer Intern at Debswana Diamond Company and as a Mining Engineer Graduate Trainee. Currently, they hold the position of Alt Senior Mining Engineer - Short Term Planning at MMG Limited, focusing on short-term scheduling and compliance. Passionate about mining systems and analytics, Morekolodi is committed to lifelong learning and professional development within the industry.
