Rudy Simons currently serves as the General Manager of Sales & Marketing for Food & Nutrition at Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Europe since August 2025, overseeing business development and commercialization in the EMEA region. Prior to this role, Rudy held positions including Business Development Manager at NIZO, Key Account Manager for Infant Nutrition at Bunge, and Business Development Manager at Advanced Lipids. Rudy's extensive career also includes significant experience at Frutarom Natural Solutions as a Technical Specialist & Head of Sales & Business Development for East Asia and various roles at Frutarom from 2007 to 2018 in technical support, product management, and R&D. Academic achievements include earning a PhD in Food Chemistry from Wageningen University & Research and an MSc in Biology from Leiden University. Additionally, Rudy has developed language skills in Korean while studying at the Korean School of Amsterdam from 2011 to 2014.
