Tori Carpenito is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at MITRE since May 2016. Previously, Tori worked at GE Aviation from July 2011 to March 2016, serving as an Engineer/Technologist in the Turboshaft/Turboprop Military Propulsion & Power Engineering organization, where Tori led a foreign military licensed production program and managed internal engineering teams while serving as the engineering point of contact for a Turkish customer. Tori also held the role of Design Engineer as part of the Edison Engineering Development Program, responsible for designing lubrication system components for jet and helicopter engines and managing component suppliers. Earlier, Tori was an Engineering Intern at Spectra Energy in the summer of 2010, gaining insights into the natural gas industry's capital expansion project lifecycle. Tori holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Irish Studies from the University of Notre Dame, with additional studies at University College Dublin.
