George Roelke is a distinguished chief engineer at the Cyber Infrastructure Protection Innovation Center within MITRE, where they currently lead innovative projects in cyber security. Previously, George served as a developmental engineer for the United States Air Force from 1995 to 2016, overseeing multi-million dollar research programs and leading teams during critical operations. Their notable experience includes managing the tactical data links program and directing cyber security initiatives at DARPA. George holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering, both from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and earned a Bachelor of Computer Engineering with highest honors from Georgia Institute of Technology.
