Arkeem Byrd is currently the Assistant Director of Player Engagement with the Minnesota Vikings, where they support players in their personal and professional growth throughout their NFL journeys. Following a career-ending knee injury in 2018, Arkeem shifted their focus from playing to helping athletes develop off the field. They previously held roles at several universities, including serving as a Student-Athlete Development Coordinator at the University of Oregon and an Academic Support Assistant at Penn State University. With a commitment to mentorship and community building, Arkeem fosters athletes' transitions and long-term success. Arkeem holds a degree from Wake Forest University, where they were also a Division I student-athlete.
