Michael M. serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Minnesota State University, Mankato since January 2009, overseeing all aspects of information security at a large institution that caters to over 15,000 students and 2,000 faculty and staff. In addition to this role, Michael M. has contributed to the university as an Adjunct Faculty member, teaching key concepts in information security program development. Michael M. has extensive experience in systems and network management, having previously held positions such as Systems/Network Analyst Team Lead at Christensen Farms and Systems Administrator at Cargill. Michael M. also has a strong background in virtualization technologies and infrastructure design, achieving significant cost savings in past roles, notably converting server infrastructures to VMware.
