Kristel Mikkor has extensive experience in education, project management, and research, with a focus on mathematics and robotics. Currently serving as Research Cooperation Manager at Milrem Robotics since February 2019, Kristel leads large-scale cooperation projects with Estonian universities and manages project budgets while delivering proposals for EU projects. As a Mathematics and Robotics Teacher at Paikuse School since August 2021, lesson plans are tailored to student abilities. Previous roles include Head of Curricula Robotics Software Development at Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, leading the development of teaching quality, and various positions at the University of Tartu, where Kristel significantly contributed to mathematics education and research. Kristel holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Tartu, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field.
