Carrie Novotny-Buss is a dedicated educational leader with over 25 years of experience in the field. They currently serve as the Director of Special Education B-21 at Millard Public Schools and previously held roles including PK-5 Principal and Coordinator of Elementary Special Education. With a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership focused on Resilience, Carrie applies research-based strategies to enhance the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students and staff. They also teach as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, having previously taught at the College of Saint Mary. Their commitment to advancing quality and equity in education greatly impacts both their community and the educators they mentor.
