Bright Yao is currently the General Manager of Midea Africa Region, a position held since 2023, where they lead strategic initiatives to drive sustainable growth in the region. Previously, they served as Regional Director of Africa at Midea Group, overseeing performance across multiple sectors and ensuring profitable growth. With a background in finance as a former Financial Manager at Asia Pulp & Paper Co. from 2011 to 2016, Bright Yao has cultivated a diverse skill set. They hold a degree in Personal Financial and Investment from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and are pursuing an MBA at the University of Birmingham Dubai.
