Poonam Majithia is currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at UEFA and as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director at Middlesex County FA. Poonam previously held positions as a Lawyer for the British Olympic Association, providing legal support during the Rio 2016 and PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Games. They gained extensive legal experience while working as an Associate at CMS UK and as Legal Counsel for Chelsea Football Club, where they advised on various business areas including IP and brand protection. Poonam's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions, such as the University of Edinburgh and University of Oxford, and they have also been actively involved in initiatives promoting women in sports through the Women in Football organization.
