Zahra Mirafzali is the Chief Executive Officer at Encapsula NanoSciences, a company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of lipid-based nanoparticles. With extensive experience in patent due diligence and the large-scale production of liposomal systems, Zahra has contributed significantly to both academic and industrial research sectors. Previously, Zahra served as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University and was the Chairwoman of the Advisory Board Council for the MSPS Program at Middle Tennessee State University. Zahra holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA with a focus on Marketing, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from Vanderbilt University.
