Mathias Vorreiter Pedersen is a Principal Security Engineer at Microsoft, where they focus on securing all of the company's C/C++ code using CodeQL. They previously worked at GitHub as a Senior Software Engineer and held various roles as a teaching assistant at Aarhus Universitet. Mathias earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Aarhus Universitet, where they also completed a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in the same field. Additionally, they were a visiting scholar at Harvard University in 2018.
