Dimitris Papailiopoulos is currently a Principal Research Manager at Microsoft Research, focusing on AI Frontiers. They have previously served as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2016 to 2022. Dimitris completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of California, Berkeley between 2014 and 2016, and held a graduate student role at the University of Texas at Austin from 2013 to 2014. Their academic journey includes earning a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's and Diploma from the Technical University of Crete.
