Austin Donnelly is the Head of Research Engineering at Microsoft Research Cambridge, a position held since 2002. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Principal Research Manager at Microsoft Research Ltd and gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory in 1996-1997, as well as a research intern at AT&T Research in 1999. Austin completed their BA Hons. in Computer Science and an MA at the University of Cambridge, where they also earned a PhD in Computer Science between 1997 and 2002.
