Bassam Youssef is a seasoned Field Application Engineer and technical leader currently serving as the Staff Field Application Engineer and WW FPGA Function Group Leader at Microchip Technology. With a career spanning over two decades, they have excelled in FPGA/SoC design and customer support, leading global teams and achieving significant sales growth, particularly in the Aerospace and Defense sectors. Previously, Bassam held pivotal roles at Microsemi Corporation, Altera, and Actel Corporation, where they consistently provided expert technical direction and support to key industry customers. Bassam holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master's in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, alongside an MBA from the University of Arizona Global Campus.
