Tarynne Summers has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development, currently serving as the Deputy General Manager, HR Services at Metro Vancouver, a position held since November 2022. Prior roles at Metro Vancouver include Division Manager, Talent Management and Organization Development, Program Manager, Organization Development, Human Resources, HR Advisor, and Director of Human Resources. Tarynne's previous experience also includes a role as Senior Coordinator at the Employee & Family Assistance Program and Senior Recruitment Consultant at Badenoch & Clark. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Communication and Media Studies from Simon Fraser University, a degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of British Columbia, a qualification in Human Resources Management and Services from UBC Sauder School of Business, and a Master of Liberal Arts in Management from Harvard University, where Tarynne received the Dean’s List Academic Achievement Award.
