Melissa Cornejo-Nell, M.Ed, is an equity-driven education leader currently serving as the Director of K12 Partnerships and the Perkins Grant at North Hennepin Community College. Previously, they held various positions including College Access Program Manager at Conexion Americas and Partnerships, Impact, and Engagement Manager at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where they cultivated over 2,000 partnerships to expand opportunities for students. With a Master of Education from Vanderbilt Peabody College, Melissa has a strong background in creating inclusive educational environments and advocating for first-generation and immigrant students. Throughout their career, they have focused on strategic partnerships and program implementation to drive equity in education.
