Averie Timm Chávez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in writing, content creation, and digital strategy. As a freelance writer from January 2011 to January 2013, Averie contributed to notable publications such as Interview Magazine, The Village Voice, and Black Book Magazine. At RYOT from September 2016 to January 2017, Averie held multiple key roles including Social Media & Distribution Strategist, Digital Development Director, and Editorial Manager, spearheading content distribution and production for RYOT Films and managing editorial teams. Currently, Averie serves as a Radio Show Host at WQRT 99.1 FM Indianapolis and has recently worked at Meta as a Senior Producer and Developer Strategy Lead for Metaverse Creator Programs. Averie's earlier experience includes roles at Carrot, a VICE company, as a Junior Copywriter and Copywriter, focusing on creative projects for global clients.
