Mayra Serna, M.B.A., M.Ed., serves as a Spanish teacher at Mesquite Independent School District since August 2018. Prior to this role, Mayra held positions at Texas A&M University-Commerce, including admissions recruiter from September 2014 to August 2017 and orientation staff from May 2011 to May 2014. Mayra also gained experience as a paralegal intern at Faires and Garrett Law Office during the fall of 2013. Mayra holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from East Texas A&M University, achieved in 2018, and a Master of Business Administration from the same institution, completed in 2016. The educational background further includes a Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies and Spanish from East Texas A&M University, obtained in 2014, and high school graduation from Rockwall-Heath High School in 2010.
