Ryan Harmer is a Senior Scientist in Analytical Development at Merck Animal Health, where they apply their expertise in organic chemistry. They defended their PhD in Chemistry at Rutgers University, where they also served as a Graduate Student Researcher and a Teaching Assistant. Prior to their current role, Ryan completed a year-long industrial fellowship at Colgate-Palmolive, focusing on innovative packaging solutions aimed at reducing plastic waste. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Kean University.
