Miltiades Karlos, PMP, is a clinical development specialist with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Director of Clinical Operations in Oncology at Merck. They have excelled in various roles throughout their career, including data management, monitoring, medical writing, and clinical trial management, while also gaining significant expertise in clinical trial technologies over the past dozen years. Notably, Miltiades led the global deployment team for clinical trial software at Hoffmann-La Roche during a two-year assignment in Basel, Switzerland, honing their skills in collaboration, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Before their current role, Miltiades managed client relationships and product development at Trial By Fire Solutions and operated a clinical research consulting business for several years. Miltiades holds a B.S. in Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
