Joe Sanchez is currently the Site Learning and Development Director at Merck, where they lead initiatives to enhance employee capabilities and drive innovation within Vaccine Operations. Joe's previous experience includes positions as Director of North America R&D Science Engagement at AstraZeneca, where they cultivated strategic partnerships and managed national STEM programming, significantly impacting over 1 million K-12 students. Joe also served as a Lecturer at Towson University from 2011 to 2015, providing instruction in laboratory sciences and advising students. They earned a PhD in Genetics from the University of Rochester and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
