Dalton Smart, CPA, MBA, is currently the Senior Vice President of Finance and Global Controller at Merck. Previously, Dalton held various leadership roles at Schering Pharmaceuticals and Merck, including Vice President of Corporate Audit and Assurance Services and Executive Director of Audit. Dalton also contributed to compliance initiatives as Compliance Officer for Ex-US Operations. With a solid foundation in public accounting from PwC, Dalton has amassed a wealth of experience in finance and strategic project execution across various sectors. Dalton's educational background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Lehigh University College of Business.
