Deepak Ranjan is an experienced supply chain and procurement professional with a diverse background spanning multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, dental care, and agrochemicals. Currently serving as Associate Director Procurement at Merck Group since December 2021, Deepak leads strategic sourcing initiatives for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and other materials. Previous roles include Group Leader Supply Chain & Procurement at PI Industries Ltd, Supply Chain & Procurement Manager at Clove Dental and Sinochem International Corporation, and Logistics & Supply Chain Manager at Philip Morris International. Deepak also served as Business Excellence/Supply Chain Manager at BASF, driving operational improvements through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Deepak holds an MBA in Operations Management and advanced certifications in procurement and supply chain management.
