Laura Herman is a dementia care partner, consultant, and educator with over 25 years of experience in geriatric and dementia care. Beginning their career as an aide in a nursing home, Laura developed a deep understanding of behavioral communication and has since trained peers and family members across various settings. Currently, they serve as the Chief Learning Officer at Mentia and a Subject Matter Expert for MedCerts, while also founding the ABC Dementia Course & Community to support caregivers. Laura's commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with dementia drives their ongoing work in education and advocacy.
