Richard Coakley MEng serves as the Business Unit Manager at Meggitt since April 2016, overseeing approximately 130 employees and managing four value streams with an annual revenue of around £40 million for 2022/23. Richard's role involves leadership of a multi-functional team focused on achieving key performance indicators. Previous positions include Director of Programmes for Thermal Management programs, Senior Programme Manager, and Programme Manager at various companies including Ricardo and GKN Aerospace, where responsibilities spanned full lifecycle programme management, project management, and market analysis. Richard holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with German from The University of Sheffield, completed in 2006.
