Juan Alderete is a Sr. Principal Mechanical Design Engineer at Medtronic, where they have been an integral team member of the R&D Mechanical Engineering Department since 2007, focusing on the design of body-worn insulin delivery and continuous glucose monitoring systems. With over 20 years of product design and development experience, they previously held positions at Raytheon as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer and interned at Hewlett-Packard and Chevron. Juan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis, which they earned in 1999.
