Jorge Zhingre Sanchez is a Principal R&D Engineer at Medtronic, specializing in transcatheter heart valves within the Structural Heart and Aortic division. They previously held positions at Medtronic, including Senior Research and Development Engineer, and Graduate Engineer Intern, where they supported the TAVR project. Jorge earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Additionally, they served as a Library Associate Assistant during their undergraduate years.
