Cynthia Kung is a Principal Systems Engineer in Surgical Robotics R&D at Medtronic, where they have been contributing since 2019. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer and Design Assurance Engineer at Smith & Nephew and Blue Belt Technologies, respectively, as well as an Associate Research Engineer at Philips Research North America. Cynthia began their career as a Research Intern at Philips Research North America and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University.
