Christian Freitas is a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in robotics, particularly in control strategies and predictive models for human-robot interaction. They completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a concentration in Robotics at the University of Rochester. Previously, they served as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Rochester, developing algorithms for medical ultrasound imaging and teaching various engineering courses. Christian's experience includes roles at Vecna Robotics and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and they currently work at Medtronic in the Surgical Robotics division.
