Mohammed Karim is an experienced orthopedic oncologist and spine surgeon with a comprehensive background in orthopedic surgery. Training included a residency at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2014 to June 2019, where Mohammed served as Chief Resident and Editor-in-Chief of the Orthopaedic Journal, earning the Massachusetts Orthopaedic Association Best Paper Award in 2017. Mohammed completed two clinical fellowships, one at Vancouver General Hospital in spine surgery and another at Mayo Clinic Rochester in musculoskeletal oncology, before taking a position at MedStar Health in September 2024. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Harvard Medical School and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Sociology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
