Ivan Pavlov is the Head of Preclinical Good Research Practice Policy at the Medical Research Council, where they lead the development and implementation of research practice policies in preclinical research. With 20 years of experience in biomedical research and funding, Ivan has a strong analytical background and a proven track record of building successful partnerships. They earned a PhD in Animal Physiology from the University of Helsinki and have held various research roles at UCL, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Principal Research Associate. Ivan's passion for innovation in health sciences is complemented by their deep understanding of the UK science funding system and broad international experience.
