Emmi Joensuu is a Senior Scientific Consultant and Operations Lead at MedEngine, where they contribute to medical affairs, marketing, and digital solutions, particularly in oncology. Emmi holds a Ph.D. from the University of Helsinki, where they focused on research in medical and clinical genetics and epigenetics, specifically investigating hereditary and sporadic cancers. They have also conducted postdoctoral research in translational cancer biology, emphasizing individualized drug therapy. Emmi completed a Bachelor's in Business Administration at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of Eastern Finland.
