Shirley McBride is a career and employment consultant at Jenel Consulting. They were the owner and CEO of McBride Career Group Inc., a role they held starting in 1989, with a focus on assisting unemployed Albertans and career changers and connecting with employers and related training. They provide career and employment business and consumer advice, program design, and proposal writing, and have contributed input on CARF accreditation and policy guidelines. They earned a BSc in Occupational Therapy (BScOT) with studies in Vocational Evaluation and Career Development from the University of Alberta (1980–1981).
